Refund policy

Every mat and tile set we sell is printed to order for you individually. That shapes this policy, so please read it before you buy.

If something arrives wrong or damaged

We will make it right. Email contact@fourthseatmahjong.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. You do not need to send the item back.

This covers damage in transit, printing faults, missing tiles or components, and anything that arrived different from what you ordered.

Change of mind

Because each item is made for you after you order it, we cannot accept returns simply because you have changed your mind, and we cannot offer exchanges for a different design, size or colour.

We would rather say that plainly here than surprise you later. If you are unsure whether a size or a design will suit your table, email us before you order and we will help. We would much rather answer a question than have you receive something that is not right.

Cancelling an order

Email us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will cancel it and refund you in full, provided it has not already gone to print. Once production has begun an order cannot be cancelled.

Incorrect shipping address

Please check your address at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable because the address was wrong or incomplete, we can reship it once you cover the reshipping cost, or refund the order less our shipping cost.

How refunds are issued

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer typically takes 5 to 10 business days to post the credit after we issue it.
